Introducing the Next Generation of Cleanroom Foggers: AP30, AP50, AP100, and AP200

At Applied Physics Inc., our mission has always been to deliver precise, high-performance solutions for cleanroom airflow visualization. Our previous models, including the widely adopted AP35, served industries ranging from pharmaceutical manufacturing to semiconductor and aerospace with reliability and consistency.

Now, with the launch of our new line—AP30, AP50, AP100, and AP200—we’ve taken everything we’ve learned and engineered a system that delivers superior fog density, efficiency, and control.

🚀 Why These New Models Outperform the AP35

While the AP35 delivered dependable results, our newest foggers are built around a powerful and deliberate upgrade: self-pressurized liquid nitrogen (LN₂) systems combined with optimized internal geometry and enhanced thermal efficiency.

Here’s what sets them apart:

1. Self-Pressurized LN₂ Tanks = More Fog, More Control

The key difference is our move to self-pressurized LN₂ tanks across all new models. These tanks generate internal pressure by vaporizing a portion of the liquid nitrogen, which:

  • Allows for precise, controlled gas flow into the fogging chamber

  • Delivers a higher volume of nitrogen gas on demand

  • Results in denser, more uniform fog

This means the new AP30 can actually outperform the AP35, even with less heat and a lower nitrogen flow, simply due to how efficiently it converts LN₂ into ultra-fine fog particles.

2. Superior Fog Density at Lower Input Requirements

Even in early testing conditions—with cooler water temperatures and minimal LN₂ flow—the AP30 produced denser, whiter fog than the AP35. This is due to:

  • Improved nitrogen delivery directly into the water vapor zone

  • Enhanced internal mixing geometry

  • More consistent droplet formation in the 3–5 micron range (ideal for cleanroom visualization)

This results in faster startup times, greater visual clarity, and lower LN₂ consumption per cycle.

3. Scalable Performance – AP50, AP100, AP200

The AP50, AP100, and AP200 scale up on the same core architecture, allowing for:

  • Larger LN₂ tanks for extended operation

  • Higher gas flow capabilities for larger cleanrooms

  • Additional heating elements (where needed) to maintain optimal vapor production

Each model is optimized for different room sizes and operational needs while maintaining the same performance principles that make the AP30 exceptional.

4. Smart Integration and Design Consistency

All new models share a common enclosure platform, streamlining manufacturing, maintenance, and training. We’ve integrated:

  • Wireless control (optional)

  • Water-resistant capacitive touch displays

  • Unified sensors for water level and temperature

  • Simplified serviceability and part replacement

In Summary

The AP30, AP50, AP100, and AP200 represent the future of cleanroom fogging—offering more fog, faster response, and higher reliability than ever before. They outperform legacy units like the AP35 not because they use more resources, but because they use them smarter.

By combining self-pressurized LN₂ tanks with precision-engineered systems, we’re delivering a tool that doesn’t just meet cleanroom visualization standards—it sets new ones.
