Compact multi-grade · PURELAB Quest

One compact ELGA system for Type I, Type II and Type III water. Quest UV publishes Type I resistivity of 18.2 MΩ·cm at 25 °C and dispense flow up to 1.2 L/min.

Ultrapure point-of-use · PURELAB Chorus / Flex

Use the PURELAB family when the laboratory needs a point-of-use ultrapure-water workflow. Select the exact model from feedwater, daily volume, TOC and application requirements.

Central distribution · CENTRA

CENTRA R200 integrates purification, storage and distribution for multi-point loops. Standard R200 and high-flow variants have different delivery-flow specifications.

How do I choose between Type I, Type II and Type III laboratory water?

Choose the water grade from the application and instrument requirements first, then size the system around feedwater quality, daily volume, peak dispense rate, storage and distribution needs. Type I is ultrapure water for the most sensitive applications; Type II and Type III support progressively less demanding laboratory uses and pretreatment workflows.

Does Applied Physics manufacture ELGA PURELAB, CENTRA or MEDICA systems?

No. ELGA LabWater is the product brand for PURELAB, CENTRA and MEDICA systems. Applied Physics Water Technologies supplies ELGA products for customers in the United States and Canada and provides product-selection and quotation support.

When is a centralized water system preferable to a point-of-use system?

A centralized system can be preferable when multiple laboratories or points of use need a shared purified-water loop. Point-of-use systems are often better when one laboratory or instrument needs a localized supply. Required flow, water grade, redundancy and distribution distance should drive the selection.
