Description

The P100 Air Sampler is a highly efficient, user-friendly device designed to collect microbiological, bacterial, and fungal contaminants. Engineered for Pharmaceutical, BioPharma, and R&D environments, it provides outstanding capture rates, simple operation, and convenient portability for critical environmental monitoring.

Supported Environments & Applications

  • ISO 5-9 suites and adjacent support areas (Hallways, Zones, Air Locks)

  • Bulk Production Suites and Final Filtration/Filling Lines

  • Laminar Air Flow (LAF) Hoods and Bio-Safety Cabinets

  • Barrier Isolators and Aseptic Connections

  • Media Prep, Fermentation, Buffer Preparation, and Purification areas

  • Sterility Testing Chambers and QC Product Testing

Design & Advanced Technology

Unlike many traditional samplers, the P100 is specifically designed to prevent aerosol exhaust from dumping back into the production suite, ensuring completely clean operation. It features accurate airflow control across a wide dynamic volume, a long operational battery life, and superb capture efficiency that remains uniform across the sample substrate.

Slit-to-Agar Technology The P100 utilizes traditional Slit-to-Agar technology elevated for modern usability and dynamic data feedback. A vacuum pump pulls a precise volume of air through a correctly sized inlet slit, accelerating the airflow to a specific capture velocity. As the air impacts the collection surface, it makes a tangent direction change. Inertia forces suspended particles out of the airflow, impacting them directly onto the agar surface.

The test plate rotates under the slit to separate recovery events, creating a time map of collected microorganisms to identify contamination over specific time periods. The media is then incubated to recover, count, and determine the quantity of Colony Forming Units (CFU) per volume of air sampled, allowing you to calculate microorganism density and settling rates in product containers and vials.
