Description
Cleanroom Fogger Performance Comparisons
AP100 Ultrapure Fogger ≈ 15.5 cubic meters of fog / minute, ≈ 1520 ml fog density / minute, ≈ 90 minutes operation, ≈
30-40 feet fog distance, 4 fog outputs, clean room fog or theater fog.
Ultrapure Foggers were developed to provide higher levels of fog density; and it is the fog density that provides the highly visual airflow for long distances. FOG DENSITY determines how well the airflow can be visualized to the eye or video camera. By combining the total liquid volume of water and Liquid Nitrogen, dividing the volume (in milli-liters) by the typical minutes of operation, the fog density is easily calculated. The AP100 provides 1520 ml of fog density; i.e. the AP100 converts 1520 liters of liquid per minute to ultrapure fog vapor with a droplet diameter of 2-3 microns. It is the fog density that provides visual airflow and visible distance. An Ultrapure fogger uses liquid nitrogen and DI Water or WFI water, and when power in turned on, a highly dense fog is produced, which floats into the airflow to visualize patterns, turbulence and dead spots. Which ultrapure fogger is best for the money spent? The AP100 uses 100 L of Liquid Nitrogen and 10L of water, which is converted directly to a highly dense fog for about 90 minutes. Small ultrapure foggers generate between 150 and 250 ml per minute fog density. So if you need a fogger for large cleanroom spaces or stage fog, the AP100 Ultrapure fogger is the right choice. The AP100, clean room ultrapure fogger provides the highest volume of high purity fog to visualize airflow for about 90 minutes of airflow visualization with 30-40 feet of visual airflow distance. No cleanup of any kind is required after fogging with a high purity fogger! If visual airflow modeling is needed, the AP100 produces more fog than any other fogger, and is used specifically in large clean rooms providing the highest levels of fog density, fog volume and visual airflow distance to achieve your visual airflow goals and 3D airflow modeling.

Cleanroom UltraPure fogger – The AP100 nitrogen fog generator is used in clean rooms, ISO suites and sterile rooms to provide visualization of airflow, flow patterns, dead spaces and turbulence. Nitrogen fog generators support Pharmaceutical guidelines, USP 797 In-Situ Airflow Analysis, ISO 14644-3 Annex B7 guidelines and semiconductor clean room guidelines. A nitrogen fog generator creates the purest form of fog, particle free, non-contaminating, leaving no contamination or residue behind; thus no cleanup after fog use is required. The ultrapure fog enters the airflow at very low pressure and does not create airflow turbulence. The AP35 ultrapure fogger is CE Mark and compliant to ISO and USP guidelines, and can be used in Class 1 – 100,000 clean rooms for airflow, turbulence visualization, flow balancing and contaminant transport studies. Ultrapure foggers produce higher levels of fog, and Applied Physics provides two different nitrogen foggers: the AP35 producing 5 cubic meters per minute of ultrapure fog for 70 minutes and the AP100 producing 15.5 cubic meters per minute for about 90 minutes.
