Description

When operating a remote microbial air sampler (RAS), the tubing connecting the sampling head to the vacuum controller is a critical variable. Standard tubing can outgas, kink, or trap microbes due to microscopic interior roughness. Bev-A-Line® Tubing features a proprietary co-extruded design with a glassy-smooth, non-porous inner lining. This unique construction minimizes friction and static buildup, ensuring viable particulates travel freely through the line to impact the agar plate, preventing false-negative cleanroom readings.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Ultra-Smooth Inner Bore: Prevents the localized trapping of bacteria, mold, and particulates inside the hose line.

  • Kink Resistant: Highly flexible outer shell allows for tight routing inside biosafety cabinets and isolators without collapsing and choking the vacuum flow.

  • Chemical Compatibility: The inert liner is highly resistant to degradation from VHP and liquid cleanroom sanitizers, preventing shedding over time.

Applications

  • Routing vacuum lines from remote sampling heads (RAS) to the P100/V100 units

  • High-purity gas and pneumatic lines in Grade A aseptic zones
