Low Cost Sterilizing

How does a Customer choose between an unknown, low cost sterilizing product and a Sterilizing Fogger using Minncare Sterilant with EPA Registration?

One of several low cost sterilizing products are Hand Carry Spray Guns and Backpack Sprayers, both using either an electrospray output or a pressurized spray output. The hand sprayers generally cost around $1000.00 and the BackPack Sprayers generally cost about $2000.00. Sprayers emit 25 – 75 micron liquid droplets, which are too large to stay afloat in the airflow. The large droplets do not get the opportunity to evaporate a sterilant into the airflow before being pulled down by gravity to drop on the immediate low surfaces under the spray. These types of spray guns are sold LOW COST, but buyers and users alike, do not understand they are not sterilizing the area. They are only wetting the surfaces. These types of spray tools are generally operated by service companies or single owner service provider. What is the sterilant they are they spraying? Does the service agent walk around with no eye or breathing protection? If so, then the sterilant is very mild and not effective. Does the sterilant actually kill spores, molds, viruses, envelope viruses such as coronavirus? Since the droplets drop to surfaces under the spray, whatever chemical is in the droplet never had the opportunity to evaporate in the air and disperse the chemical in the airflow; but all of the residual chemicals now sit in small, deposits all over the surfaces that were sprayed 5 minutes ago, allowing people to make contact with the chemical via hands and feet, which then migrates to eyes and mouth.

Do you want a low cost sterilizing sprayer to spray droplets on the surface, thus not sterilizing your areas as expected and leaving residual chemicals behind for your employees, or kids and pets to rub their hands and feet on? These deposited chemicals will migrate by touch or tongue to animal / human eyes and mouth? Do you want a sprayer that has no EPA registration for the sterilant, thus you do not know if effective against Coronavirus?

Would you prefer a low cost AFS sterilizing fogger (about $2250/ unit + S/H) with EPA registered sterilant; or perhaps a 110VAC CRF2-S Sterilizing Fogger (about $5950 USD / unit + S/H), designed specifically to actually sterilize an area, all wall and physical surfaces, all the open air in the room, using a more effective Minncare sterilant which is EPA registered and proven to kill coronavirus?

Another sterilant competitor provides a DryFogger at 1.5 GPH, 3 GPH and 9 GPH, claiming very high fog volumes at very low purchase costs; but the tools are a hodgepodge of aftermarket sub-assemblies fixed to a rolling platform. These questionable units require a water hose input, a compressor hose input and 110VAC input. Imagine dragging this contraption around your facility to sterilize against coronavirus using only the suggested H2O2 sterilant at 7% concentration? You may be exhausted, only to discover the suggested 7% H2O2 mixture is too weak to be effective against Coronavirus.

These low cost dryfog units are assembled with plastic sub-assemblies, fogging only in 1 direction, not 360 degrees. Where are the actual test results proving high fog volumes and effectiveness against Coronavirus? Plastic can not withstand aggressive sterilants such as Minncare, which is proven effective against Coronavirus. Using the suggested 7% H2O2 is too low of a concentration and have a limited affect against Coronavirus.

Low cost is not a viable solution to fight coronavirus if you do not offer an MSDS with your sterilant, and if no EPA registration is provided with your sterilant, and no major customer feedback, yet offering very low cost at an unproven high fog volume. And why are 4 gallons of 7% H2O2 so expensive, as compared to Minncare that provides far more area coverage at lower costs, and Minncare Sterilant is EPA registered. Compare the 1.5 GPH tool and 9 GPH tool to DF2S below and you may conclude the low cost, unproven DryFoggers are not a realistic method to fight coronavirus.

We suggest using the DF2S or CRF4-S as summarized below, both are stainless steel sterilizing foggers using Minncare sterilant, which is EPA Registered, MSDS on Minncare is available, and our sterilizing foggers are indeed effective against Coronavirus.
